Certifications

What are certifications? There are several certifying bodies, including industry associations such as ISC2 (www.isc2.org) and SANS (www.sans.org), as well as major vendors such as Cisco and Checkpoint. Each of these has a different focus, but acquisition of any certification defines a security professional.
